Flu Vaccine
The flu vaccine is a seasonal vaccine that helps protect against the influenza viruses most likely to spread each year.
Human Papillomavirus (Gardasil)
HPV vaccine is routinely recommended for adolescents at 11 or 12 years of age to ensure they are protected before they are exposed to the virus. HPV vaccine may be given beginning at age 9 years and vaccination is recommended for everyone through 26 years of age.
Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Boostrix) - 10 years and older
- Adolescents should receive a single dose of Tdap, preferably at age 11 or 12 years (rising 7th graders).
- Pregnant women should get a dose of Tdap during every pregnancy, preferably during the early part of the third trimester, to help protect the newborn from pertussis.
- Adults who have never received Tdap should get a dose of Tdap.
- Adults should receive a booster dose of Tdap every 10 years.
Please note that Medicaid insurance does not cover the cost of vaccines.
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) Vaccine
With the recent outbreak of Measles, the MMR vaccine is recommended for the following:
Students/travelers/health care personnel: Unless they have evidence of measles immunity, college and other students, health care personnel, and international travelers need 2 doses that have been given on or after age 1 and at least 28 days apart.
Adults: Adults born in or after 1957 should have documentation of at least 1 dose of MMR or other evidence of measles immunity.
Pneumonia - Prevnar 20 (PCV20)
Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine helps protect against bacteria that cause pneumococcal disease.

High Dose (Senior) Flu Vaccine
High-dose flu vaccines are recommended for people age 65 and older, and also may be available to people ages 18 to 64 who have had solid organ transplants.
Meningococcal Conjugate ACWY (Menveo)
Rising 7th & 12th grade - school vaccine requirement:
Adolescents need 2 doses of a meningococcal ACWY vaccine:
First dose: 11 or 12 years of age
Second (booster) dose: at least 16 years of age or older
Rising 12th graders (16 years or older) are required to receive: 2nd dose of Meningococcal (Menveo) vaccine

Shingrix (Shingles) vaccine
SHINGRIX is a vaccine indicated for prevention of herpes zoster (HZ) (shingles):
in adults aged 50 years and older.
in adults aged 18 years and older who are or will be at increased risk of HZ due to immunodeficiency or immunosuppression caused by known disease or therapy.
SHINGRIX is not indicated for prevention of primary varicella infection (chickenpox).
This is a 2-dose series with the second dose being due 2-6 months after the first dose.
Abrysvo (RSV) Vaccine
Recommended for:
- Adults 60 years and older
- Adults 50-59 years at increased risk who have certain health conditions that make them more susceptible to severe RSV.
- Pregnant individuals (32-36 weeks gestation): can be administered during this period to provide passive immunity to their infants, protecting them from RSV during their first six months of life. (Rx required)
TB (Tuberculosis) Risk Assessment
This risk assessment has been customized according to the Virginia Department of Health’s (VDH) TB Program recommendations. Tuberculosis (TB) screening and testing of health care personnel is recommended as part of a TB Infection Control Plan and might be required by state regulations.
This is the risk assessment ONLY. We no longer provide the Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST).
